"This property is under construction so none of the advertised amenities are open. We also woke up to no water for several hours in the morning when we were trying to get ready for a funderal. It was not a good experience. The only positive was the staff, they were friendly and helpful."

"Property shouldn’t be charging guests I was told the day prior to my reservation that it was being renovated and pool, breakfast and the lobby would be usable. We were given coffee and juice and microwave breakfast sandwiches to eat in our room. My TV didn’t work the whole time and when i asked about it, i was told they would fix it and it was never fixed. I can’t say this was enjoyable this time and really wish i could have taken advantage of the things that I thought i’d be getting when I booked"

"Giving this hotel even one star would be too much. The hotel has structural problems. I checked in around 5 pm and, being tired from my business trip, fell asleep quickly. Soon after, I was woken up by a dull, cracking sound from upstairs. I went to the front desk to ask why the upstairs guests were making the same noises all the time. The front desk said they would call the upstairs room, but the dull, uneven flooring sounds continued, and seemed to be increasing. I went back to the front desk to ask for a room change, but she refused. Unable to sleep because of the noise, I asked what to do. The front desk then said I threatened her and she would call the police, escalating the case. I said, "Fine, call the police then." I went back to my room to wait for the police. When the police knocked my room, I let them into the room to listen to the sounds. The police suggested I use earplugs or find another hotel, but I had already paid for this one. The police asked how I paid, and I said by credit card. The police suggested I contact my credit card company. I did, and they found that in addition to the $99.41 I paid through Expedia, the hotel had also charged me an extra $15. The credit card company said they would refund the money through a dispute after the bill was issued. I asked the credit card company to confirm and make a note of my experience before checking out of the hotel. I planned to rest well and drive 7-8 hours home the next day, but ended up driving 7-8 hours home"
