"This place was awful. NO AIR CONDITIONING which is not mentioned anywhere on Expedia. Apparently, Expedia has that info but not listed anywhere. Would not have booked this place if I had known there was no air conditioning. No fans either and on top of that window was broken and couldn't be opened. Temp was close to 80 when I got there. Expedia was of no help finding me another room. Left within an hour of arriving. Temp next day was 102 degrees. Unacceptable at any price."

Dirty apartment in with lack of upkeeping with leaky shower that got all the floor wet. it seems that it has been happening for a while because all the wood surrounding the bathroom door is all swollen. the bathroom door cannot be closed. the toilet spills water everywhere when flushed, the spare bed is super noisy. "The only substantial hotel in the centre of Comporta. Nice modern property located in the centre of the village. Very well located and walkable to the shops, restaurants and bars in Comporta. Was upgraded to a lovely suite with kitchen/living area and bedroom separated by curtain. Large private courtyard area with 4 seater table. Decent but simple breakfast buffet with fresh eggs available to order. Service very friendly. Front desk service was friendly but sometimes felt a bit lacking. Rooftop fitness area is a great space, but few, very basic items...a couple of kettlebells and very light weight dumbbells. Slight downside is despite Comporta being quiet you could hear everything in the room... a (guest's?) dog barking. Room was located above kitchen and could hear the fans and noise from kitchen."
