"The service at this hotel was unparallel. I needed a medication and they sent a driver to the pharmacy to pick it up and bring it back to the hotel. I also needed hiking boots and they went to a hiking shoe store bought me my size got them on sale and brought them to the hotel. I’ve never experienced such incredible service before at a hotel."

"The Chef went above and beyond coming to our table to explain how he created his dishes. The food was excellent. The front desk manager took time to come to our car and help us figure out how to pay the parking since it was all in Portuguese. Saved us!"

We stayed in beautiful hotels in Portugal--this one is far/away the finest. Location is in the center of the historic, beautiful, charming village, which cannot be missed for meals, strolling, photos, etc. Highly recommend making the trip to the Arouca Geo Park for the Paiva Walkways and the suspension pedestrian bridge--experience of a lifetime!"
