Hotel lobby and rooms were clean and smelled great! Unfortunately, the hot tub/whirlpool was broken, and the "heated" pool was not very warm. Though the pool was empty when we arrived, there was Some dirty aspects from people having been around the pool, including a used band-aid.

Very good experince. Went with whole family (three kids under 5) and the pool and hot tob were a hit, the breakfast was better than average, and the room was clean with comfortable beds and sofa-bed.

Great for Family Travel

One night getaway to visit old friends. The room was so cozy with the feel of a studio apt. We didn't have the kids but said we will def try and stay at Residence Inns when we travel from now on - if they are anywhere near as clean/comfortable as this room it's a no brainer.

Everything was really good. The only thing we were disappointed by was the 8pm pool closure. Just a suggestion, maybe change that to 9 or 10 pm.

Unfortunately the fire alarm went off perhaps accidentally at like 10pm and everyone had to clear out until the fire department came. That was the only negative. Luckily it wasn’t super cold.

It’s a Marriot gone slightly to seed. Average aging hotel with average rooms in a commercial section of Poughkeepsie. Not particularly dirty nor particularly clean. Odd bits like lamps having only one light bulb and two empty sockets. Hospitality only offered every other day. Overall a bit shabby. Staff was pleasant and helpful, breakfast was standard deal. So overall a “meh”

It was a disaster- the room we rented was on the side the hotel flooded so they were trying to get us 2 seperate rooms but with kids it was impossible, the pool was down, as were the elevatos. I asked if they could work with the other residence inn in Kingston and if my rsvp can go there. They werent helpful, just said they they we refund the stay, but thats it. Very surprised by Marriot

Buyer Beware

In short, our stay at this property was a disappointment. Our original room reservation was switched (without any warning or notification) to a different type of room that didn't meet our needs at so 1 family member was displaced. The pull out couch didn't have linen, which required a late night call and request. However, the front desk staff members were kind, friendly and helpful, which almost made up for the inconvenience and hassle of our stay.
