"I love everything about this hotel and will be staying again !!"

"The overall cleanliness appeared good until we got in bed and lifted up the comforter, we could see mold through the middle of it between the top and bottom layers in the stuffing part. It was late at night and didn't go downstairs to get another one because the wait time for the elevators was 15ish minutes. The indoor pool was cold (we stayed in March) so we couldn't swim either. For the price, I honestly expected a little better. "

"Checked in and given room keys. Went to enter room and cleaning staff was standing in the doorway. Room was still being cleaned. Cleaners were rushed to finish. Room was not clean when we entered finally. Trash on the floor. Mirror sticky debris and bathroom sink not wiped clean. Bed was horrible condition, sloped to center so bad you could see it. Paint on shelf in bathroom bubbling and peeling up. Water pipes sounded like world war three when turned water on in sink. None of the staff wear any type of uniform and looked like they just walked in off the street. "

"Do not, I repeat DO NOT stay at this property. I had a day trip to Virginia and needed a quick place to stay. When I arrived first red flag were kids playing in the parking lot. Not to say that they can’t play, but it was obvious these kids lived at the property. When I got inside the room, it smelled like cigarettes, the beds were just mattresses on spring frames, pillows were different sizes, bathroom was dirty. Even though the surface of the bed didn’t have any stains, if I had a black light im certain there would’ve been bodily fluids and whatever else on the sheets. The kids were running back and forth by my room on the 2nd floor. I did not feel safe nor did I feel comfortable. I stayed there less than 15 mins before I checked out and went somewhere else. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. "

"Rooms are old but you can tell they’ve been updated. Hotel is stale but people were nice "

"Parking was easy kinda confusing at first till you walk around to get to know the place but that’s understandable being in a new place "

"The Inn at Four Eleven York and its staff can be described as gemstones. The exquisitely renovated old home is a cultured pearl found in this lovely area of Norfolk. Our stay was quiet and very comfortable and our beautifully decorated room and immaculate bathroom were phenomenal, with a well curated assortment of drinks and snacks and luxurious bath items for our enjoyment. The courteous and capable women who attended to our every need, Hilary and Jasmine, are a matching set of diamonds. Hilary was so helpful in orienting us to the Inn, giving us a brief and delightful tour and informing us about the convenient, safe parking and door code. Jasmine made our wonderfully satisfying healthy breakfast showcasing her culinary talents and knowledge of the city when asked about the places we wanted to visit nearby. What a great pleasure to stay at the Inn at Four Eleven York and we certainly hope to return again."
