Our experience at this hotel was amazing. The location and amenities were impressive. The staff, especially Susana, went above and beyond with the level of service offered and made this our most memorable stay. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Absolutely beautiful hotel right in the centre of Porto, within walking distance of all the main sights. The building is ancient with antique furniture, comfortable beds and quaint terrace/patio. Very friendly staff. Only slight criticism is the breakfast which you need to chose in advance and which we both found quite difficult to do from a long list. The food itself was delicious.

Our stay was incredible from start to finish. The hotel is beautiful and luxurious, and the staff is kind, attentive, and tremendously helpful. Complimentary breakfast was delicious and made to order every morning. The location is ideal for those looking to be in the heart of it all. Our room was absolutely gorgeous. We absolutely loved everything about this boutique hotel. It is so beautiful and the staff were incredibly accommodating and kind. The location is perfect, conveniently in middle of everything yet the minute you step inside there is immediate quiet and calm. We would absolutely stay here again.

Charming restored townhome in the historic center of Porto. Small, intimate and charming. The staff is first rate. It is not easy to access if you have a car. Ask Staff to help you get your luggage dropped off so you can then park. The slight inconvenience is worth it.

This is a high end hotel with exceptional value; no detail has been overlooked. Simply put, they get everything right every time. The location is perfect in the historic pedestrian center! Our room (8) on the 4th floor was very quiet and beautiful with an amazing ceiling, comfortable king bed, excellent water pressure, bidet and garden access. The heat-A/C is completely silent!! Breakfast was delicious, presented beautifully and customized to our appetites. Our only regret is we were unable to meet the owner/visionary behind this beautiful hotel. If we return to Porto this is the ONLY hotel we want to stay at! Thank you, Marco, for delightful conversation and delicious tawny port and pastel de nata!!

Perfect hotel in Porto

Absolutely fabulous hotel. Great location for wandering Porto. The staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Our room was beautiful and spotless. the bed comfortable and the view from our balcony was breathtaking. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Porto!

This is an incredibly special hotel. The service is top notch and the room we had was exceptional. The room has so many details that are beautiful and thoughtful. We were on the 1st floor with a courtyard. If you stay in this room, pay the extra €15 and have breakfast in your room in the courtyard. It is one of our most favorite memories from the trip. On the evening we arrived, our room had a glass of port for me and fresh squeezed oj for my daughter, along with pasteis de nata. When we returned after dinner, we had carafes of water and chocolate truffles. No detail is overlooked. I only hope I can return in the future to enjoy this property again.

Loved the history of the property. Was in the heart of the action but quiet as well. The staff was very helpful. The room was wonderful with a private courtyard and a tile mosaic from the 15th century. Had port and "nata" waiting for us in our room on arrival. Overall a beautiful facility.

Perfect stay in Porto

Two couples traveling together found this hotel to be a wonderful option for Porto. The bed, linens, shower were all of high standard. We appreciated the sound-proofing - the location on a pedestrian street might have been loud, but we didn't hear a peep. Made to order breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The location was perfect for exploring Porto. We loved our stay at this wonderfully-managed hotel and encourage others to make this choice!

Exceptional, Luxury Boutique Hotel

Exceptional luxury boutique hotel conveniently located in historic section, within walking distance to all sites and restaurants. A meticulously restored 16th Century building, M Maison Particuliere is reminiscent of a fine antiques showroom, with its refined atmosphere and furnishings. Lighting and air fragrance add to the sensual pleasures. The lavish, full breakfast is served on Oscar de la Rente china, on a chandelier-lit dining table. Attention to detail and design is apparent throughout. The rooms are lovely; paper products and linens are of the highest Portuguese quality, and the overall experience is of visiting a fine, private estate. I must mention however; that the bathroom's frosted glass doors have a clear border, which do not offer complete privacy in the toilet and shower chambers. Sarah & Luis were pleasantly professional, hospitable and extremely helpful. They greeted us at the door upon our return to the Maison, which remains locked and secure at all times. We experienced some confusion, believing that we had booked rooms with balconies, per our reservation confirmation. As a result, we were partially compensated and our room was upgraded on the 3rd night. Overall, this is an exquisite gem and an outstanding experience!
