The staff was very friendly. Nice location. Compact comfortable room, the mattress needs updated, it had sagged. Breakfast was decent with many options. Overall we had a good 3 nights in Porto.

When showering, all toilet floor get wetted and so as the toilet paper. There was too hot in the room , the air conditioning was useless. I had to open the window a bit and allow better ventilation then I got mosquito bites a lot every night. The dining area is too small.

I felt very safe and comfortable here. All the staff are kind and welcoming. The room was very good, bed very comfortable and I had everything I needed. The breakfast buffet was great and also the evening meal I had was good. Overall a great experience.

I was expecting an Ibis to be on a par with Premier Inn but the accommodation was like student accommodation, it was very small and the room felt cold & damp, the walls looked a bit mouldy. The bed was comfortable but I felt very cold and it smelt musty. I didn’t say anything as we were only there 4 nights and just the start of a long holiday, I wish now I had.

The staff were over the top. Everyone made us feel so comfortable and welcome...we could easily live there. The food service staff were so kind. There are not enough adjectices to describe the direct service staff; Francisco, Katerina and Tanya were amazing; always there to make our stay more enjoyable; our visit to your beautiful city more meaningful for us. Ibis hotels are a hit and miss. I’ve had great experiences and bad ones. This one is right in the middle. There was a very young man running the check in desk when we arrived and I found him a bit unprofessional. But by the time we were checked in another gentleman was there and he was very nice. Everything in the hotel was smaller than it looked in the pictures. We got the superior room and still felt a little cramped. But it was clean and modern. It’s an old building, so don’t be fooled by the images. The elevators are tiny, too. All in all, I would probably try to find a better hotel next time, but it’s not a bad option if you want to be central.

Good location, comfortable bad. But windowless room, unfriendly staff (one staff member got really upset because a group of guests didn't remove their breakfast tray after eating), small, busy elevators that during busy hours would mean waiting for several minutes before an elevator was free to go up to the 6th floor.

Nice hotel located very close to the Mercado do Bolhao. Rooms are a decent size and clean. Breakfast options are limited (no hot food options) but breakfast hours run long. Note that reception is on second floor and not clearly marked (it's just a table beside the bar). Staff are helpful when asked but otherwise unobtrusive.
