This is a new building set amongst the old, which is a good thing - you get to look out on an authentic Porto neighbourhood while staying in a soundproof room with well designed amenities and places to store your luggage. The only downside of being a few streets back from the intensity of the Ribeira tourist area is that it is a good 15 minute walk to the waterfront. It’s an enjoyable one, but is a hike uphill on the return. Breakfast was good and the rooftop bar was a great way to spend our last evening in Porto listening to talented Father and son duo as the sun set.
