Very old hotel in city center. Rooms are small with few amenities but the old world charm and very friendly and accommodating staff made for an enjoyable experience. Stayed 4 nights and would stay there again

Cute place

I enjoyed my stay here, the building is historical so don't expect many modern amenities. The room was clean and comfy but on the small side. Service was fantastic, everyone was very helpful and friendly!

Excellent quaint hotel in the middle of everything and close to public transport to and from the airport. There are a few stairs to the main elevator, and the rooms are quite close to one another. Just something to keep in mind if you sleep lightly or have mobility challenges. Otherwise it’s an excellent choice with friendly staff.

Disappointing stay

There was no space to put anything. You had to ask for tea coffee milk but there was a kettle in the room. Whilst it was an old building more could have been done with the room furnishings.

I don't want to slam this place, but its incredibly dated and the rooms are so tiny you can almost touch wall to wall, the carpets in the hallway are almost down to the underlay and it needs serious updating.,...I wouldnt have been so bothered if I hadn't paid $250 a night Canadian , which is way overpriced for this, plus the noise outside it rough, really close to the club/Strip club area and of the Intersection doesn't help

Central and convenient.

A strange mixture. A rather dingy entrance with a flight of 9 or 10 steps (up which cases have to be lugged) leads to a lift that takes you to an equally dingy corridor with threadbare, grubby carpets. The makeshift reception desk is not reassuring. But the girls on the desk are very welcoming (Isabel is a real charmer) and the rooms, though simply furnished, are spacious and clean and the bathrooms are spotless. It's a pity there are no fridges in the rooms. The breakfast is rather disappointing but the hotel is very well situated--just a few hundred yards from a metro station (Aliados), from which the airport is easily reached.
