"Lovely refurbished building. Our room was unique; a door off the entry that took you to a small sitting room and stairs up to the bed and bath. Very nice; comfortable bed, good ventilation, great shower and a sitting area balcony overlooking the garden and restaurant. They offer a lovely buffet breakfast and Annabella and staff were very accommodating. And we discovered how incredible the restaurant, Jangal, is. Incredible menu, newly opened. Truly a great experience not to be missed. "

"The property was in a great location, walkable to all the local tourist spots, but set a little bit away from the hustle and bustle perfect escape from the noise at night. The breakfast offered both hot and cold foods with a good selection of both. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, especially Peter. I highly recommend this hotel."

"The staff are professional & friendly. The breakfast buffet could be a bit more extensive (a few more fruit choices would have been nice). But this is a very minor quibble. The beds are comfortable. The room was fine if a bit cramped. The property overall is beautiful and you can't beat the location."

"Great hostel, owner is super nice, knowledgeable and helpful. Place is just a 10 minute walk to the main area of Gaia and Porto, so its quiet, but also convenient. I got a private room in this hostel, but I'm sure a dorm room would've been fine. Free breakfast every morning and owner offers recommendations or engaging conversations about Portugal and Porto. They did my laundry for 10 euros too, which was great. "
