I wasn't impressed with this hotel. There was urine in the toilet when we checked into our room, and a used plastic cup on the edge of the tub. The area is dumpy around it with a lot of homeless, I didn't feel safe. After the first night I asked to be be moved to a room off the ground floor because at 4:30 am there was a huge commotion outside of our window with yelling and banging on the window. I am a woman travelling with my daughter alone for a sports tournament and I was terrified. The breakfast was not good either. Won't be staying here again. The bright spot was the staff was very friendly and helpful

Not very clean. The location is close to freeway. At night is full off house less people hanging around the abandoned building.

Good location for quick access to PIR. Very fairly priced. Tons of what looks like drug-related homelessness immediately outside the property, at no fault of the property owner. They had private security actively watching their parking lot at night, and no one seemed to wander on the property as a result. Definitely will consider staying there again.

Hotel was clean and the front desk staff were very pleasant. Good breakfast and convenient laundry facilities. Comfortable room. Area felt unsafe. Several homeless people hanging around the corner gas station. There was a drug addict right outside our window. He could hardly walk straight.

Always a decent stay. Staff is fantastic and the WiFi appears to have been updated which is appreciated. Owner also reallocated staff from another hotel for a weekend shuttle to the race track. Appreciated again. It is too bad Portland has turned into such a mess. This Hotel puts in the effort to do better which is noticed.

NOTE: this is a two star hotel! Saying that, staff are the best. Quick check in, happy, asked every time they saw me if there was anything they could do, etc. Nothing the hotel can do but the area around this hotel is rough to say the least. They keep the parking area and hotel safe but I don’t recommend an evening or night walk as there is a large tent city near the hotel. I’ve never had any problems and all my encounters with the homeless were very cordial but you never know. Hotel is well kept but is older and thus has a 70’s style room layout. Rooms are large, beds are very comfortable and the location for me is excellent.
