"Good location next to Lake Windermere and we had a great view of the lake from our room - very atmospheric in the early morning mist! Room lovely and warm and well appointed although a little more floorspace would not have gone amiss. Breakfast was very good - a decent amount of food, very tasty and well cooked. We also enjoyed the

"A good location, great breakfast and friendly hosts combined for a lovely stay. I used the health club and went at a quite busy time (after work slot), I would advise visiting outside the peak hours if you can. Facilities at the gym/spa were great, it was just busy and not as clean etc as a result. Overall a great stay and will stay again next time i am in the area. "
