A beautiful, unique stay. Glamming at its best. You have your own fire pit and hot tub. Views of the lake from your private deck. Better amenities than a hotel. Great Wi-Fi too.
Me and my hubby were initially skeptical because of very few reviews of the place on Expedia. We went a head and booked the place to take our chances because the place looked interesting and a few reviews that had were all excellent. So glad we booked the place and spent two nights there. We had an amazing experience at Nalu. The view from dome #2 was breathtaking and watching the stars from a hot tub outside was amazing. Comfortable bed , shower, everything was excellent. Would book it again for longer stay.
One of the nicest accommodations I’ve stayed at - Dome 1 was beautifully furnished and decorated, well-stocked and spotless, with all amenities needed and then some. The views were majestic - from the scenic lake to the starry sky at night while in the hot tub. Service was top notch and super responsive. Can’t wait to go back!
We were upgraded to dome 3 with a better view. Everything was absolutely perfect, and I don’t often give perfect reviews. Comfort is second to none, all possible amenities are present, everything feels brand new and is well thought-out, the view is magnificent, wifi works well, I really can’t even find one nit to pick. We would absolutely stay here again if we came back. Bonus: great hiking trails walking distance from the resort!
We stayed in Dome 1 and it had a lovely view of the woods and lake. The surroundings and the dome itself were quiet and serene. The Dome was outfitted beautifully and all of the conviences you would need. This is a great place to unplug, rest and reconnect with nature. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this experience. For additional information, if you like to prepare foods or want to eat on site, the dome has a good set up for this. If you are looking to eat out, everything is a 15 to a 25 minute drive. There are hiking trails very close to the Domes but I would not consider the property or surrounding neighborhood walkable. The domes also have views of the lake but there is not direct access to it. You would have to drive to the lake public entrance.
Beautiful place. My hubby and I enjoyed our stay very much. Initially we booked the place for one night to see how it was and then extended our stay for another night. Loved the place.
The most beautiful setting. Luxuriously appointed. In fact, more so than any of the 5 star hotels we stayed at on our trip through NS. Worth the 30 minute drive from DT Halifax. Will be back and will dream of it till then.
The check in time and check out time killed it for me. Also the $500 deposit that takes 7 days to reimburse.
Check in time is after 4pm and the check out time is 10am for cleaning purposes. So they need 6 hours to clean apparently
Anyways, not worth the amount they charge per night for the zero flexible time to check in and out
