"It was inside the walled city of Citadella,
There was a public parking place for free parking about a 3 minute walk from the hotel, nice location, great people who worked there, very helpful and accommodating."
"For the last fourty years we have regularly visited Bassano to go shopping. This was our first time at Villa Solaris, super staff, super clean and a great room. Selection at breakfast was limited but quality was good.
In fourty years, this was definitely the best hotel that we have stayed at, and easy tdo drive in to Bassano. The hotel has private parking, and a small but adequate swimming pool. We will definitely be using this hotel often in the future! Best regards to all - family...

Hotel Abbazia
10/10 Excellent
"Hotel Abbazia was a gem—super conveniently located to public transportation (railway station and Piazzale Roma) and the Grand Canal but set back on a quiet side street. The staff was extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful. Room was great—comfortable bed, effective AC, reasonably priced."
"My family and I really enjoyed staying here. It's walking distance from the train station (Santa Lucia). The room was comfortable and clean. We had a view of the garden it was very beautiful. We also enjoyed the breakfast and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I would recommend the place."
"This property was super clean and the room and bathroom were super nice, The staff very polite and always willing to help. Location is super quiet away from the busy streets, but at the same time close to the St. Lucia station. Love this hotel. "
"It was a great place to stay the night before we left in it since it was close to the airport. But, I think it would also be a nice place to stay if you want more affordable hotel options because it is easy transportation via boat to Venice for the day"
"We traveled as a family and had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Principe. The location is excellent—less than a 5-minute walk from the Santa Lucia train station, which was very convenient when arriving and departing the city.
We had two rooms. Although they didn’t have a canal view, they were bright, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. One day, we did notice a faint onion smell when opening the window, but it was a one-time occurrence and didn’t impact our overall experience.
Breakfast was one of the highlights: very complete and varied, with fresh fruit, real-tasting eggs (not the artificial kind!), a nice assortment of breads, and a good selection of drinks. It was also included in our reservation made through Hotels.com, which was a great plus.
The hotel has direct access to the canal, which allowed us to enjoy beautiful views and experience a traditional Venetian moment, with gondolas passing right in front of us.
While main attractions like St. Mark’s Square are about a 40-minute walk away, the walk itself is enjoyable and a great way to explore Venice’s charming streets.
All in all, a very good option for staying in Venice, especially if you’re arriving by train and traveling with family."
