"I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). "

We had some pushbikes with us we wanted to store and they helped with this where other places either wouldn't or wanted to charge fortunes. Breakfast was brilliant, usual cooked breakfast but with freshly baked bread for toasting or just eating."
