"I run a hospitality business, so I thought long and hard before leaving even the slightest negative feedback for this hotel. It still deserved a 4, but could so easily have been a 5. The location is superb, can’t fault that. Period building, really well presented, superb artwork, great décor, very French in character. "Room was comfortable however the seagulls kept us awake every morning from 5am walking on the roof (Room5) There were a couple of examples where ingredients listed for food items on the menu were left out, proving to be a disappointment for some dishes. The gnocchi didn't have any chestnuts, The pancakes didn't have coconut yoghurt for example. More vegetarian options would have been welcomed."
