"Had a wonderful stay at Anchorage, it’s such a fantastic location. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. Great communication from the hosts and everything went very smoothly in terms of checking in/checking out. Would definitely recommend this place and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again."
Inn In The Park

"The property is situated in a quiet setting and just a few minutes walk from the magnificent seafront. Being a Inn and a weekend stay.. quite busy during the day and early evening, but to be expected. Staff were very polite and helpful and the food was to a very good standard. There was live music outside throughout the day on the Saturday not to loud, which was great to sit out listening to. Our room had some quirky features as expected, clean and tidy with good amenities. If there was one very minor negative, and we obviously didn't stay to watch TV.. the tv signal/reception in our room was very poor, and restricted the number of available channels. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would definitely visit again."

"Perfect location for exploring Poole. David the host was very knowledgeable and helpful. I have never had such a lovingly prepared fantastic breakfast, a lot of time and effort going into it, even homemade sourdough bread. We will definitely stay again when visiting Poole."

"Hotel is in an excellent location. The outside swimming pool ,gate access to the beach, and the outside veranda were excellent amenities. Breakfast was very good, with a varied choice. For a 4 star hotel, the decor could have been a bit better. Our bedroom was quite small, extremely hot ( no air conditioning - just a fan ) and wasn't hoovered when we arrived. I appreciate it wasn't one of the upgraded front rooms with view of the water, but could have been much better for a 4 star hotel."

"Lovely, quiet room with a church view in the owners’ home, and very close to restaurants, pubs, shops and the ferry terminal. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"

Sandbanks Hotel

"Lovely hotel (which we’ve been to a few times now) Right on the lovely sandy beach m which is a big plus for us! Free parking available (but must remember to enter your registration at reception) Able to still use some Hotel facilities for the remainder of the day after 11am checkout. Friendly and polite staff throughout. Lift available Good choice of buffet breakfast & good choice of drinks at the bar. Upgraded to a larger room with living area - many thanks. Unfortunately couldn’t get the living room window to open, but staff were very amenable and supplied us with a fan & mini fridge (it was a particularly hot time) - again “thank you”. We will definitely be back soon."
