"Very happy with Icon. Entrance and access were convenient and easy, location very good, with bus stops within a 2-3 minute walk, the Lido/Cassarate area only 12-15 minute walk, and downtown only a 20-minute or so walk. The building was modern, and accommodation was very nice. Murphy bed very comfy, good kitchen and a very good bathroom with a rain showerhead. Nothing but nice things to say...we really loved it! "

"This was one of the best rentals I have ever stayed in in my life- and I have travelled a lot! Often when you rent a place, upon arrival you discover that the photos were taken at a misleading angle, or that something about the place is not really as nice as it was spelled out to be. "We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Funicolare. We stayed in a family room, which was absolutely massive, with plenty of space for all of us and a very comfortable stay. The views were amazing and really added to the experience. We also had dinner at the hotel one evening and breakfast during our stay. The menu was varied, with plenty of choice, and everything we had was enjoyable. All of the staff were lovely and welcoming, but Luana at reception deserves a special mention. She was incredibly kind and helpful. We had unfortunately made a mistake when booking and selected the wrong dates, but Luana was so gracious and understanding and went out of her way to help us resolve the issue. Her kindness made a stressful situation so much easier. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Hotel Funicolare. Spacious rooms, beautiful views, good food and genuinely wonderful staff."
