"Good size up graded room on the 2nd floor. Motel only has stairs. Bit of street noise, but I still got a good night sleep. Bed was comfortable. Big bathroom with large bench space. If you want cereal, dinner plates as well as cutlery ask at the office. There is no microwave in room. Only in their laundry. No toaster either, they are banned. Motel is a stones throw away from the RSL, to enjoy a great meal. Other eateries are close by also. 2 klm walk to Cleveland Lighthouse. Shops are 2 blocks away, about a 20 min walk."

"the accommodation needs a lot of attention. Whilst this is located centrally on the island and within walking distance to beach and pub the cleanliness of the accomodation was 4/10. For the amount of money you pay you would expect the place to be in a better condition, however, we find this with a lot of the houses on Stradbroke Island, the attention to detail is not there, big cobwebs everywhere, broken slates, missing remote controllers to air con units, sand everywhere."
