Hotels with Swimming Pool in Queensland

"Lovely hotel in the heart of Carines Esplanade. Walking distance to all major attractions (night market, lagoon, reef, rusty's and shopping) and transport (central train station for Kuranda train and buses). Very helpful staff (Ricardo and Manuel especially). Hotel was very clean, rooms were too and well appointed (espresso machine, slippers, robes). Lovely shower and Origins branded bath products (look in the drawer under the sink, it actually pulls out and contains some essentials). Only negatives were slightly musty smell of rooms, but that goes away once AC turns on, likely due to climate, and lobby needs a ramp for lugagge. I did not try the restaurants inside this hotel but CC's across the street at the Bailey was wonderful. "

"We had a wonderful couple of days at the Sheraton Mirage. The hotel was excellent and the food terrific. The only thing that would make it even better was if they had an adults only section in Feast Restaurant. At the buffet breakfast there was a lot of children running around tables and in walkways while we were walking back to our spot with plates in one hand and glasses in the other, and nearly loosing the lot. Not the restaurants fault, but slack parenting. Teach your children some restaurant manners."

"We loved everything about this hotel, the decor is fun, the hotel is clean and comfortable. It ticked all our boxes - 2 queen comfy beds in one room with fresh clean linen met our needs. The pool was inviting and the spa was set at the perfect temperature. We were on the 15th floor and had great views of the city, only downside balcony not accessible door were zip tied shut. It would have been lovely to have had access for fresh air. There’s a lot of construction in the area, the noise didn’t affect us as we were mostly out and about.Highly recommended."

"Checked in after a flight from Cairns where we had a fantastic Marina view room with the sunrise through our balcony to the bed every morning. Of course we knew the high-rise Hyatt Regency was not going to beat that, but a city skyline or river view from a high 15th floor room would be good. We had a 5th floor view of a rear lane. Close the drapes and enjoy the super comfy bed and clever room layout. Plenty of breakfast places within 5 mins walk. Right on the CBD doorstep."
