"Absolutely beautiful building and grounds, room was huge and clean, staff were all so friendly. Very peaceful. Shops only a short walk away. Will definitely be staying again, myself and my partner thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We didn’t make use of the bar as we don’t drink but upon walking past it looked clean, cosy and a few friendly people enjoying a drink"

"Wonderful stay. Clean room (although strong smell of drains), very comfy bed. Great to have a bath and a separate shower. Food was amazing. Pork crackling, rump steak and seabass all cooked to absolute perfection. Cheeseboard taken to room was a great late night supper! Breakfast was superb. How they managed to get my poached egg transported up to the furthest room from the kitchen, and it still be perfectly cooked, amazes me! Every member of staff was friendly, efficient, polite and helpful. All are a credit to the Hall. Will certainly return as soon as finances allow! "

"Unfortunately there was a large amount of building work going on and out room directly overlook the building work so no view whatsoever ever. Asked about a room change and the duty manager said there was nothing available didn’t offer any alternatives and didn’t ask if we would like to upgrade at a cost to ourselves. "
