"Beautiful spacious room with very comfortable bed and lots of storage space. Quiet, restful sleep each of seven nights with delightful home cooked breakfast each morning. Just 20 minutes walk to train station and half that time to city centre and Barbican. Perfect location, if slightly uphill walks to most places of interest. Staff were excellent: friendly, helpful and efficient. A true delight to spend a week here. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you, Drake Hotel, for being all we were hoping for."

"Fantastic new build hotel. Fantastic eye for detail very well laid out and straightforward. We had everything we needed for our stay. Staff at reception were great explaining everything we needed to know. Only things that could have improved our stay, not having building/ site yard outside our window. And working out the underbed lighting was timed motion sensing quicker would have saved 20mins checking all the switches in the room to figure out which one we had left on. But great hotel would love to stay again. "
