"The property has a nice gym and pool and is right on the ocean. However, it needs major work. The rooms are old and dated. Black mold covered the baseboard under the bathroom vanity. We were given no blankets. There was no fitted sheet on the bed. They used a normal sheet for a fitted sheet. They gave us two bath towels. No bath mat or hand towels. I would not stay there again."

"Sit back, this will be a long review. I WISH I could rate the staff separate from the property. The truth is the staff was just too good for this old property. Hilton should be ashamed. My stay was business for the week. We arrived on Monday, and was greeted with warm and friendly smiles. We had traveled for almost 10 hours. The front desk allowed early check-ins for everyone. There were smiles all around. The lobby area is gorgeous. The Koi pond was beautiful and well kept. We headed towards the elevators and there was strike one. Out of three elevators, two barely worked. Upon exiting the elevator the overwhelming smell of old moldy carpet smacks you in the face. When we entered our room, at first glance it was very clean, you could tell the staff took pride in their work. However, Hilton needs to do room renovations ASAP!! The grout on the bathroom floor and shower were filthy. And the worst part were the gnats that were invading the rooms. Everyone talked about and were swatting gnats the entire week. The bugs were in the rooms, the meeting rooms and we found one in our food during the last banquet. I absolutely would never stay at this resort again HOWEVER, I cannot say enough how amazing the staff was. The bartenders at the pool were the best friends you didn't know you needed. The staff that serviced the breakfast bar greeted us with smiles EVERY SINGLE DAY!! It was truly heartfelt. I wish Hilton would put the money and redo this hotel. "

"It was clean overall but tacking on an obligatory $43 a night extra fee that the hotel dictates how to spend was not appreciated. $5 at snack shop with only choice is a bag of chips!"

"The LaConcha exceeded or expectations for our first visit to PR! Beautiful interior. Comfortable suite and bed! Everything you need is right on the premises, yet you have plenty of options within walking distance on the main strip with many restaurants, stores, and gift shops. We have no complaints and look forward to going back!"

"No rules were implemented. No children in hot tub should mean that! relaxing i was hot in head with football while kids were unattended in hot tub. i’ve been there before and same thing happened. Our fault we went during spring break so pool was over run with unruley kids with no parents to be seen. Couldn’t really relax, not enough poolside chairs, people would come out at 5 am pick there chairs put all there stuff in it and stay for whole day until evening, leaving no space for others. only a few cabanas to rent with too many guests. Children at the pool side bar."
