"The place was wonderful in the room very clean and comfortable. The hallways and elevator are not air conditioned. The elevator was broken the last 2 days of my stay I was in room 402 which is 5 flights of stairs, the lobby is not floor 1. The cooking pans are very cheap and the cook top has no instructions on how to operate. It’s different than any I’ve ever used before. The pool was very popular although I never used it."

"Hotel is fully renovated, food and amenities are great. However don’t be fulled by the website description. I originally booked a suite with 2 double beds and sofa bed as per Princess room description. We are a family of 4 with 4 y.o and 15 y.o. Upon arrival our room turned to have only 2 double beds and sofa (which turned to be just a sofa not sofa bed, absolutely useless in room setup). It is crazy for someone to think that 4 ppl can fit in there. We were offered to upgrade to platinum suite with 2 double beds, sofa bed, and have been told it is the only room setup possible for our family. I had to pay additional USD $1200 which is 50% more of what I already have paid when booked. This felt as a complete scam and absolutely ruined our experience with hotel. You get a fancier food and drinks with “platinum”, but it did not really matter for my kids who are mostly eating fries and burgers. All we wanted was another bed and basically were forced to pay for the services we did not want/need."

"The hotel is ok, but it is being remodeled and lots of area are closed. Staff is not always friendly and in the buffets, bell boys and drivers (Bernabe) who drive the trains are sometimes rude and will ignore those from Latin America or Mexico. There are exceptions like Russel in the Vaqueria who was exceptional, especially with our children. Th resort has lots of pools which makes it like there are not a lot of people which is good. Consider there is hardly any shade and people reserve them very early. In general it is ok, but definitely the lack of friendly staff is off putting. Not sure if we would come back, maybe when all of it is open. "
