"More than I expected best ever"

"This is a great place if you're not too picky. It does have some current renovation problems. Some buildings closed. Some building in need of a major overhaul. The restaurant La Laguna literally had rain inside, but I did not mind. Not raindrops. Rain. Kind of added to the charm for me. It seems like a great place for kids, but mine are full grown now. It has a water park & a kids club so parents can solo things. Many animals around, surrounded by jungle, cenotes, mini rivers, etc. Has some adults only sections. Drinks are easily available most place. Food selection is very nice. Its buffet quality, but I loved the variety. Somethings could be improved like better communication from staff. That was lacking a bit, but overall, nearly everyone I interacted was genuinely friendly. I went during rain season, so there were not as many tourists. I highly recommend & will most likely visit in the future again."

"Room was great. Front desk staff and cleaning staff were fantastic. In fact all staff are fantastic. They were personable helpful and just overall great. Pool was great too. Everything was clean and smelled great. Lots of hot water. A/c was cold. Area was good it’s far enough from the touristy areas to not be bothered by noise n whatnot but close enough to walk to 5th in maybe 10-15 mins if you chose. Great bakery n pizza across the street and tacos close by. Oxxo 7-11 and a six all close by and the mega is one block away. Would stay here again 100% "

"I've stayed here the last two years. Great place for a Mexico beach getaway. Rooms are nice. Food is good. Staff is friendly and helpful. You can't really go wrong with this pick if you are looking for something that's got a little bit of everything and excels in most. The playacar area is one of the nicest you can stay at in Playa del Carmen as well. Don't hesitate - the rating says it all."
