"The view from the dining room and my room was amazing! The staff was nice and responsive. However, they were not so diligent. When I got there, the shower was not working, the heat was blasting. This stuff should be checked before a guest arrives. But they fixed these issues when I asked. They got a plumber the next day to fix the shower. And they turned down the heat.     "Lovely hotel in great location. Recepton staff very good. Breakfast staff chatted amonst themselves all morning. Spa area is really poorly designed. Walk through the pool area and downstairs with dirty shoes to a tiny "changing room" which is a few showers and toilets with a stool outside. And door opens directly on to reception area so no privacy for changing. Swimmers also drip down the stairs so an accident waiting to happen!! Some gym equipment broken. And the gym and pool don't open until 11am!!!!! Why? Not supervised so just open before breakfast! "
