"We chose Pistoia as the base for a two-day visit to Florence. This plan worked great. Hosts Carlo and Lucia have a quirky compound located a short walk from the train station. We parked our rental car for the duration, and used the regional train service (frequent and cheap) to get to Florence. (Ask Carlo about his motorcycle collection.) "Fantastic atmosphere and quality at dinner. A little more standard at breakfast. Poor English skills from the receptionist. She didn’t really understand that we had a problem in our room.(Our neighbor keep smoking in his bathroom, so our bathroom was also stinking of cigarettes) The pool area is very clean and nice to visit, but the traffic around is a little noisy."

"We spent our honeymoon here as we were married in San Miniato. The staff was wonderful especially Laura! There was a slight issue with our room, not only were they considerate, they upgraded our room and sent a gift to our room complimentary once hearing about our wedding. We will definitely make this a priority to our next visit!"
