"Beautiful property located in the central area of Brescia so an easy walk to the main sights, though quite a trudge with a suitcase from the station on a hot day - I should have looked at the map and caught a taxi. It has a breakfast room and a restaurant on site, which were really handy during a rainstorm. I found it frustrating as it could be really lovely, just for the want of petty things.
On a hot day, a bottle of water in the room would have been lovely (later, I found a vending machine downstairs). A room safe would have been useful. For internet access one is requested to fill in lots of forms. The austerity can be quite relaxing - just a small crucifix decorates the room - but a feeling that one is either in one of the church groups or excluded. I don't think breakfast was expensive, but I never found a sign to say how much.
The dessert "Peach trompe l"oeil" was really fun and nice!"
"Really liked this modern hotel. We were given a themed room which was decorated with young children in mind but it was nice and cheery. All food purchased was delicious. Only slight negative was the taxi price from the airport (30 euros) then 40 into Bergamo station next morning. Would certainly go back for an overnight stay."
"Hotel os very nice indoor and the staff is excellent.
Lake View from breakfast restaurant is very nice.
Outdoor, the hotel is in need of a little shining up round the pool area, and to add parasols next to the sunbeds."
"Great experience staying here. Location is fantastic, with just a short walk to the water, supermarket and restaurants. What a beautiful location.
The staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful with excellent English.
Highly recommended!"
