"Traveling & booking hotels as a wheelchair user is sometimes difficult & leaves you in less than desirable circumstances, from rooms that say they are “Ada accessible” but actually don’t have doors wide enough to fit your chair through, or tiny once you get inside, or get to the hotel just for them to say we actually don’t have any accessible rooms left. My stay at the Hampton in Alton was excellent, the accessible king suite was super nice & spacious! Huge bathroom with roll in shower & flip down bench. The staff was super nice & even came through clutch with a wine opener when I needed one. Awesome room & excellent experience. 10/10 recommend"
