"Needs a serious update - Not dirty, just everything is old and/or depressing"

"The room was misding a few towels and water glasses and had no coffeemaker. The continental breakfast area had tea bags but no hot wster The fire doors that have a sign on them saying Keep shut-were never shut. The room itself was clean and comfortable and the staff were hoid. "

"Dogs are allowed. Hot tub was ok, a little low on water and jets went up instead of out but it felt great. Clean and staff was friendly. Great perks for the price! "

"SUCH a clean room. As a clean freak myself, I was delightfully surprised at how clean the room was. Upon entering, it smelled wonderfully fresh, and everything was spotless. There was a Dairy Queen right across the parking lot and a small bar across the street. I did not visit either of those, but it was good to know those quick options were available. I was passing through on a long trip and was looking for a place that was safe, clean, and dog-friendly, and this fit perfectly. "

"Property is extremely needing a major facelift. The property and everything in it is worn out. My guest room smelled of wet puppy and stagnant air. AC unit in wall was filled with dirt and mildew. Refused to turn it on. Stayed there due to cost savings. I'll stay in Edwardsville next time and deal with extra driving. The location has to be renovated or they will be able to sell rooms by the hour. Their HQ leaders would never allow their family members to stay at this location. Guests deserve better. "

"Breakfast was good. Staff very friendly. Toilet was loose. Reported it friday AM. Monday AM when we left……still nothing. Could have been a hazard. The hottub/spa inoperable. Never fixed. There’s NO maintenance workers?? Inexcusable. And there’s a Holiday Inn Express right across the street. "
