"A good basic hotel. Room was comfortable but not necessary super clean. Someone in the near past had spilt something sugary and housekeeping hadn't really cleaned it up. Breakfast was surprisingly varied and tasty. Parking was plentiful. Would recommended to anyone looking for a Calgary or Banff adjacent place to stay."

"I am writing to share some feedback regarding our recent stay. While your staff clearly worked hard to maintain the property, we encountered several significant issues during our visit. On our first night, our heater did not work. Although we were assured someone would come to fix it, no one arrived, and we spent the night in the cold. Additionally, we accidentally left a bag of nuts on the bed. While we fully understand the importance of storing food properly due to the grizzly warnings, the situation was handled poorly by your staff. A young woman employee yelled at us, threatened us with a park ranger, and then drove away from our campsite spinning her tires. This aggressive behavior made us feel extremely uncomfortable and ruined our entire camping experience. The price of the Trapper tents are quiet expensive, expecially with it being full of Spiders and bugs and mice. It made it very difficult sleeping comfortably. Also our door handle was extremely hard to open and close. I do think they should instal some lights outside the tents. Also, the shower arrangement with being having a very large site, 3 showers is not enough! Line ups for shower and 4 sinks was a nightmare. The overall experience was a 2 star."

"The location is excellent for quick access to the mountains, and, with the freeways, easy to get downtown too. We stayed in a newly renovated room. The layout was very practical. The hot tub was nice after hiking."

"It is what it costs. Very simple and functional. The room I stayed would work best if they left a air flow before my arrival, the smell wasn't exactly pleasant. Again, you get what you pay. If you are going to Banff, the location is very convenient and easy to take the motorway 1. But the drive is indeed long and might be very fog in early hours. The house offers all you need in terms of facilities."
