"We originally booked a cabin, but a couple of weeks before our trip, we received an Expedia message saying there were no cabins available for our dates, even though we had already paid the deposit. They did have a 2-queen motel room reserved for us instead, and honestly, it worked out for the better. The room had air conditioning, which was definitely needed during a hot July weekend in Big Bear! The room was clean, the Wi-Fi worked great, and I really liked that the TV allowed us to switch inputs. We were able to hook up our Fire Stick and use our streaming services, including watching WWE SummerSlam. Our room was right next to the lake, so we had amazing views and it was so relaxing with the BBQ and benches at the picnic area. The location was also close enough to the Village that we walked over a few times for food—Village Pizza, BBQ at The Cookshak, and of course morning coffee at Tea & Coffee Exchange. The only issue we had was with parking. It seemed like the parking and picnic area could be better monitored, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. There was a large gathering at the picnic area, and by the time we returned, there was only one parking spot left. I'm not sure if everyone there was staying at the property, but it would be nice if parking was better enforced to make sure registered guests have a place to park. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend, especially if you're visiting during the summer!"

"We were looking last minute for availability in the area and ironically the cabin photos are what caught our eye, yet still did not do these beautiful cabins justice! 😍 The decor varies and we chose Lucille’s manor as it was my father’s grandma’s name and just uncanny how similar the style was to hers. A lovely slice of nostalgia in a beautiful setting. The cabin appeared brand new if that helps describe the cleanliness. My parents have designed, built, and decorated their own homes for 30 years and were blown away by the evident intention and thought put into every detail. It was so cozy and gave “lived in” but in the best way possible for a rental. We came through town with the intention of relaxing and sleeping here, maybe taking advantage of the free bikes but to enjoy local establishments for food and drink. Which worked out perfect with the fridge/freezer, microwave, and coffee before heading out for the day. But there were grills and some utensils for it if needed - so if that is your vibe for your stay we thought the amenities and included items listed were very transparent on the listing 🙂 We will be back for sure! "Online check-in, pet friendly, newly renovated, walk to the Village. We stayed in a very nice one bedroon cabin with equipped kitchen, a/c, private deck, jetted tub, king bed, and plenty of space to safely walk our dogs on the property. Everything was lovely. Spacious, clean, modern-rustic. The owner greeted us personally and took care of everything. By far th best accomodations for the price in Big Bear, will definitely return."

"Very convenient to the Village and its amenities. Although my room was quite small, it was only me and my dog and IMO good value for the price. Some deferred cosmetic maintenance in the room, e.g. patched but not painted spots on the wall. I mainly picked this place because 1) I have an elderly dog I can't travel without; and 2) I swim for daily exercise. The outdoor pool was very nice and the staff was both efficient and extra helpful. I visited during a heat wave and enjoyed the mini-split AC unit. I also got a private in-room in-person tutorial on how to operate it with the remote control unit. I will definitely stay here again."
