"Our room was very clean and tidy, slept well even though it was very hot during our stay. It would have been nice to have a seat in the room, as I had to stand up to dry my hair, which was a little difficult, but I understand that it may be hard given the size of the room. There was a good choice at breakfast, even though we didn't take full advantage, we enjoyed what we had. Loved the bread.. The service throughout our 2-day stay was very good. We did find the location more remote than expected, but it was worth it for the wonderful views.!!! NB The blind on the window needs fixing and maybe a bigger toilet seat !!"

"Such a lovely traditional pub with good accommodation, situated in a pretty rural setting, a short drive away from Pickering. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. My husband and I had an evening meal in the pub which was excellent, as was breakfast the following morning. Pet friendly. Would definitely recommend the Horseshoe Inn."
