Phoenix hotel rooms a the Highgate Independent

"Included breakfast: bread and toaster. No condiments and nothing else except coffee. Nothing more. Bathroom tub and shower had big-time mold at every joint. In room air conditioner controls inoperative and produced noise just this side of the business end of a 737 engine of takeoff."

"Flooring/carpeting in room was dirty. They need a good shampooing and/or replaced. Pools were unsupervised, so obnoxious teenagers take over the hot tubs and typical families cannot enjoy their time. This happened at least 3 times in different pools across the property. The pool decking and sidewalks throughout were filthy. This property is in dire need of a refresh and needs better routine maintenance. A power washer, power scrubber and a floor shampoo on a scheduled basis would go along way. Overall, the all staff were nice and helpful. We will pass on any future visits to this property. We will not be coming back to this resort "

"Clean room, helpful kind staff, pool area under construction for new additions, though we enjoyed the lazy River 2 days. It’s not upscale, good family resort though. Enjoyed good drinks and nachos at pool. "

"The AZB has a very beautiful property with all the amenities you could ask for during your stay, even with stunning mountain views. Renatas restaurant offers delicious food and cocktails. The Cup and Cone Market has wonderful grab-and-go items; the overnight oats are very tasty. The staff is amazing and very friendly. You must check out AZB for yourself and experience the great stay. "Returned to this hotel after 14 years, and it has only gotten better. Stopped on our way from Coachella with our daughter. Celebrated at ZuZu for dinner and it was fantastic. The rooms are clean and they have updated them since our last stay. Pool is still so much fun! It's such a great stay in Scottsdale!"
