"Eastwind is a very unique property. You are surrounded by nature and the vibe is very European. Rooms have lotsa wood and interesting touches. The pool was super clean and brisk. You're within walking distance (20 min) to lake placid and there's a good restaurant nearby - Sentinel & Station Large bonfires at night w smores and a lovely walking path to a nearby creek. I would have given them 5 stars but my bed was pretty uncomfortable I still would stay there again"

"This facility is dated but clean enough. Stayed for the Lax Tourney, so super convenient to the fields. Coffee maker didn't work well but minor issue. Certainly one of the best deals in the area."

"My husband and I recently spent a weekend at the Lake Placid Stagecoach Inn, and it was nothing short of magical! Before arriving, the owner Kelly, sent us a "Perfect Placid" list of the areas attractions with things to do and restaurant recommendations. So cool! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed - Kelly and her staff greeted us warmly and offered a quick tour pointing out the cozy common areas and sharing a bit of the Inn's history. The vintage accents and handcrafted furniture made us feel like we had stepped back in time. Our room (Kate Smith) was sooo comfortable, mixing rustic charm and beautiful modern amenities! Our dining experience was spectacular with seasonal offerings that support local farms and vendors. Absolutely delicious and everyone made us feel like family! The location is just minutes from everything, yet it feels like a secluded retreat. We sat on the porch and played cribbage with our wine and handcrafted cocktails. So fun and relaxing! We also visited the village shops, Mirror Lake, and biked the beautiful Adirondack Trail. Our whole trip was simply amazing... and too short! Bottom line, The Stagecoach has historic charm, 5-star dining, and a location that perfectly balances convenience with tranquility. It will warm your soul. We definitely plan to stay again!! "We stayed at the lodge for Ironman Lake Placid. It is close enough to easily get to and from the venue, but far away enough to enjoy the quiet surrounding area. Our stay was incredible. The breakfast was the best part. The blueberry muffins can’t be beat! The rooms were cozy and the lodge was peaceful. Loved hanging out at the river behind the lodge to relax. We will be back!"
