No access to the beach. They don’t serve cocktails only beer. Breakfast buffet - eggs and one soup was good. I didn’t really liked anything else. (But maybe that’s just me) There were mosquitos over the eggs and pancake station. The valet guy is very friendly tho.

Love the staff - 5 stars! Great price and location. Although we ran into the no hot water situation on our last night but no biggie. Hopefully we won’t encounter same issue on our next stay. Only suggestion I would make is mop the floors in the room…a little dusty. See you next time, Ocean Dunes!!

오래되었지만 정말 잘 관리된 호텔이고 직원들도 친절하고 조식은 메뉴에 변화가 거의 없지만 괜찮은 식사를 할수 있었습니다. 룸서비스 메뉴는 빠른 조리와 맛도 좋았습니다. 5년전부터 여러번 이용했는데 항상 만족합니다.

Väldigt bra hotell. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal men de kunde knappt prata nån engelska. Det var väldigt lugnt vid pool området när vi var här under julveckan. Bra frukost, bra AC och bra wi-fi. Bra säng men lite för liten 120cm. Skön och billig massage på hotellet. Vi hade rum med havsutsikt med stor balkong. Enda minus var stranden. Pytte liten strand och smutsig vatten. Vi badade inte en enda gång i havet. Kan tänka mig att stanna här flera gånger.

판티엣에 갈때마다 이용했습니다. 오래되었지만 정말 잘 관리가 되어온 호텔입니다. 직원들도 모두 친절했고 아침식사도 좋았습니다. 몇개월만에 갔는데 알아봐주는 도어맨이 인상적이었습니다. 다음에 또 이용할 예정입니다.

It's a very old hotel, but it's very good. I'll visit you again next time. Thank you for all your kindness. Two thing I regret is that I didn't have enough breakfast menu and wifi was not connected or too slow. But you were all good people.

Never come back here again.

I stayed here 3 years ago and now I came back with full disappoinment: old facilities, smelling carpet, very poor breakfast, and the beach is totally in very bad condiction as they are under constrution but without noticed in advance. The plus point is the friendly staffs but not really professional. Compared with the rate paid, I am sure you can have better choice.

Read the fine print and beware

Beware. Travel time from Ho Chi Minh airport to this hotel is 5 hours by car which is almost as long as the flight from Melbourne, Australia to Vietnam. You need a Vietnamese government VISA to travel to Vietnam and you will not be allowed on the plane in Australia without a VISA letter. Once in Vietnam, you will need 2 passport size photographs to provide to customs as well as your VISA letter so they can process a VISA for you at the airport. In my case, the VISA letter never arrived in time so I was not allowed to board the plane in Australia and lost the whole hotel money (you pay the whole amount of your stay upfront in Ocean Dunes Resort), as I had to cancel flights and hotel due to this. Be careful as the management at this Resort will not contemplate any requests for money back, whether you paid for a week's stay or 2 month stay..no matter, you will loose all of your money.

hotel on beach with nuie surroundings

A hotel that is located on the beach, fairly empty when we stayed there at Easter 2017 - so no problem getting a sun bed by either pool. Make sure you book a sea view room - very good view of sea and gardens. The downside is that you have to walk about 500m+ to get off of the hotel site, and there is a lot of building work going on in the front of the hotel, although this is not noisy during the day or evening. but this didnt spoil our holiday there at all.

Nedslående fremtidsutsikter for Ocean Dunes

Dessverre er Ocean Dunes (tidligere Novotel Du Parc) blitt liggende helt i skyggen av det kommende fem stjerners kjempekomplekset langs stranden i Phan Thiet. Dette forberedes for fullt (sammen med den kommende flyplassen), og jeg fikk anledning til å se noen av forberedelsene under oppholdet på Ocean Dunes. Det hersker stor usikkerhet mht hotellet Ocen Dunes' fremtid, hvilket er sterkt beklagelig. Dette hotellet, med sin historie og sin ypperlige beliggenhet med en helt fantastisk betjening, fortjener en absolutt bedre stabilitet og ditto nutsikter for fremtiden. Det samme gjør mange gjester som vender tilbake år etter år.

Hotel parfait pour repos, plage et piscines.

Super séjour de 6 nuits, tout est bien, les piscines, le jardin, accès direct à la plage, le petit déjeuner parfait avec un excellent choix, la chambre avec terrasse et salon extérieur, nous avons rencontré un couple de Francais qui vient dans cet hôtel depuis 5 ans et on comprend pourquoi. Si je reviens au Vietnam je referais un séjour dans cet hôtel. Le personnel est toujours aux petits soins pour vous, ils sont vraiment agréables. Nous avions l'option diner inclus, la cuisine est bonne avec spécialités vietnamienne.

Hotellet har en privat strand samt ett välskött poolområde. Rummen har det nödvändigaste och det är rent och fräsch men det är också tydligt att några uppdateringar av rummen eller hotellet i sin helhet inte har gjorts. Maten är dyr men lämnar ändå mer att önska, vi sökte oss därför utanför hotellet för att hitta restauranger och vi upplevde då att hotellet låg lite avsides. Vi var väldigt få gäster på plats och upplevelsen var att det var desto mer personal. Trots det höll sig servicenivån endast på en väldigt grundläggande nivå. Vill du ha något får du själv söka upp personalen och ingen kommer självmant och frågar om ni vill ha någon påfyllning eller om ni vill ha en karta över området och de var inte heller uppdaterade om sina erbjudanden mellan avdelningar. Vi saknade även Wifi under större delen av vistelsen och fick även där själva aktivt driva frågan och fick ingen info om varför det inte fungerade. Vi fick ett väldigt medelmåttigt intryck av vår vistelse och skulle därför inte rekommendera det. Vill ni bara ha lugn och ro och hänga vid hotellet så är både pool och strand lättillgängligt och trevligt. Dock är stranden ganska skräpig.
