"I was visiting Chaing Mai for a month of study, a woman traveling alone. Initially I read reviews for B2 and while they were older mediocre reviews, I didn’t book here. After arriving and staying in another hotel across the divided highway for a few days, I realized this hotel had everything I needed for a longer stay in the village of Su Thep. This hotel was a grand dame in her day, with a massive bright lobby complete with lots of seating space, two people at the front desk and security....

"Bring tons of mosquito repellent! Apply it especially during breakfast when you eat at the restaurant. Hotel should install a mosquito killer lamp or electric mosquito repellent to lessen those mosquitoes. Breakfast has 2 options - American and Thai. The staff will ask you for your choice of breakfast the night prior. Hotel location is about 10 mins from the airport but it is quite remote. There’s no convenience store nearby so you have to buy everything you need before you go back to the hotel....

The 1st 2 days was a buffet and I am vegan so I had toast, fruit and coffee then had plain rice or french fries for dinner. No tour services or info. "Hotel is situated in a nook, so it’s quiet, even though the main Street a few feet away comes to life with the night market. But somehow once you’re in the hotel you don’t hear anything. There’s all kinds of shopping (you can find all kinds of souvenirs here, jewelry, purses, clothing, luggage, you name it), restaurants, bars/pubs, massage spas, everything. Staff is very nice, helpful, and pleasant; breakfast buffet was extensive and very good. Perfect location. "
