Burrstone Inn, an Ascend Collection Hotel
8/10 Good
"We have stayed here many times driving through NY and it’s always the same. Clean, safe, comfortable and affordable."
Quality Inn Oneida near Casino

"Good location and friendly staff"
Quality Inn & Suites New Hartford - Utica
8/10 Good
"Overall, our experience was okay. Only one interaction with staff upon check in. She was efficient and polite. Our room was clean enough, very small bathroom. Continental breakfast typical. I recommend this facility as a lower cost overnight stay."
Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Verona Turning Stone
8/10 Good
"Title: Friendly staff, but room conditions and amenities fall short This was my first time staying at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Verona Turning Stone for a short family trip. The Good: The front desk staff was consistently polite, kind, and courteous throughout our stay. The common areas looked very clean, and the initial welcome was great. The Issues: Unfortunately, our room and the hotel amenities had several notable problems: Maintenance & Heating: Upon arrival, our room door was extremely difficult to open, requiring a call to front desk maintenance. On our second night when the temperature dropped, turning on the heat blew a strong smoke smell into the room, making it unusable. Staff said it was just from disuse, which was disappointing. Bedding & Mattress: The fitted sheet kept slipping off. When we removed it to fix it, we discovered the mattress was heavily stained and extremely uncomfortable. Entertainment & Wi-Fi: The internet connection was very poor, and I was unable to connect my Fire Stick to the TV, which was a major disappointment for evening downtime. Amenities: Having only one washer and one dryer for a 95-room property makes laundry practically non-existent. Additionally, while we saw a pool on site, no details or guidance were ever provided about guest access. While I appreciate how sweet and helpful the staff were, the room comfort, Wi-Fi, and property upkeep definitely need improvement."
The Tower at Turning Stone Resort Casino
10/10 Excellent
"Great place to stay! Unfortunately some of the restaurants aren’t open early in the week but there are still a few good options to choose from."
Homewood Suites by Hilton New Hartford Utica
8/10 Good
"Staff were very helpful and professional. Location was great for trip from Niagara Falls to Boston. Room was really great with very comfortable bed. Unfortunately the pool was closed when we arrived - we were offered use of the neighbouring hotel pool, but it meant going outside. Breakfast was ok. Would definitely stay again if travelling that way."
Oneida Community Mansion House
10/10 Excellent
"This is such a cool and unique experience! Lots of history and the grounds are gorgeous! Air conditioning was powerful on those hot summer nights! However, the floor above us is private living quarters and the person was making noise until 2:00am. Bring headphones and a noise machine!"
Creekside Inn
10/10 Excellent
"What a wonderful site to see all the lights outside to welcome us after riding 55 miles on our bikes only arrive after dark. The hospitality was unsurpassed welcoming us in with our dirty bikes into their lobby and getting us a lovely table by the fireplace. The food was truly out of this world. The prime rib was perfectly medium rare and my scallops were seared just right. The penne was so flavorful we ate until we were ready to burst. The butter cake was just the right finish on the perfect meal after our food scarce ride of dry tuna on dry sourdough bread on the trail. We would go back without hesitation except that we don’t live in the area. As far as staying in the inn, while they were incredibly gracious the set up was a challenge for us. The room was on the second floor so we had to take 6 panniers and our camera equipment up the stairs. My legs were pretty wobbly so the stairs were quite the challenge. We also needed to hand wash some clothes and the bathroom was tiny. We made it work. It was so quiet and the bed was very comfortable. If we weren’t on our bike ride it would have been perfect. The other issue for us was the distance from the Empire State trail was more than we expected. Strava app took us 3 hours and over 10 miles off the trail thru Utica. We preferred to be closer to the trail but I couldn’t find a more convenient. Staff was lovely."
The Crescent

"Loved the complimentary Valet. Front desk put us in a great room on the tenth floor with a great view. Loved the Brooke Pool & visited the Spa!"
