"One of the best parts of my stay at Dean Park Hotel was the staff. Everyone I met was warm, patient, and genuinely helpful. Whenever I had a question or needed something, they were always willing to help.
I extended my stay more than once, and the manager helped me keep the same room and the same rate, which made things much easier for me. One evening I had some food from outside that needed reheating. The restaurant staff explained that they needed to check with the manager first, which I completely understood. After getting approval, they reheated it for me, put it on their own plate, and wrapped it carefully in foil. It was such a small thing, but it felt very thoughtful and kind.
The breakfast was also excellent—fresh fruit, yogurt, cheese, hot food, and many healthy choices. It felt much fresher and better prepared than many hotel breakfasts I have had before.
The hotel itself is not perfect. The water pressure in my room was quite low and the hot water was limited, but the staff came up twice to try to fix it and were very responsive.
Overall, what I will remember most is the people. They made me feel very welcome, and that made my stay in Scotland especially enjoyable."
