"Hotel and staff were lovely. It is a nice hotel with comfortable beds. The garden in the front is nice to sit out or walk through. Just note it is adjacent to the train and a busy road along one side and the train is very noisy. It does die down later in the evening but starts up early in the morning. "

Perth museum is well worth a visit and has free entry. There are several pubs and restaurants close by too. Also the Twa Tams is an excellent live music bar with diferent music genres on different nights and Enzo have some of the best pizzas ever.

Once we walked into Perth which is really about a 40 minute walk we went for a lovely lunch at willows which is always busy. Great seating area also outside. We crossed over to the museum which is free and it's lovely and scone place is a must see.

Perth surpassed our expectations with the centre having some great shops, cafes and restaurants and was clean with a nice vibe. We ate at Enzo which was fantastic and loved our visit to the museum which was newly renovated.

Perth has gone downhill since the last time I was there. No parking at the hotel. Parking nearby but quite expensive. Many closed shops, restaurants and bars. Walking about the town was pleasant and quiet.

"
Great stay. Do not sleep on the breakfast buffet add on. Very worth it. Can’t beat this place for the price in Sterling from what I’ve seen so far. Only note is that the rooms get a bit toasty. It didn’t bother me too much and I think you can ask for a fan at front desk if you need."
"We loved this hotel. There are several bus stops by the hotel to take you into the city or to take you to the train station. There is also a restaurant on the property with a really good drink selection and good food. There is also a market within walking distance. The staff was so helpful. The room was very clean with a towel warmer, and the bed was extremely comfortable and big."
"Very friendly and helpful staff. Really nice hotel grounds, close enough to walk into the village, but far enough to be quiet and tranquil in the evenings."
"Lovely historic hotel in Perth. Friendly and incredibly attentive staff.
Lovely breakfast.
This is an old historic building and has many winding passageways which adds to its charm.
Overall a great location and would happily stay again. "
"Disappointed with Expedia.
I booked two nights here and I was asked by my company to stay an extra day so when I went to book an extra night in the apex I was shocked to learn it would cost me £160 per night without breakfast.
The first two days I booked was £127 per night + £14 parking fee.
So when I tried to book an extra night Expedia had bumped the price up to £160 per night .
I checked and there were plenty of rooms available so there was no excuse .
Absolute disgrace! "
"We had a gd time we went 2 get away for a few days the staff at the front desk were so nice n helpful we were hot on sat n i phoned 2 reception to see if they had a fan and we had one in minutes very efficient we enjoyed our stay "
