"We didn’t eat breakfast. Spa was ok steam room didn’t work. Paid for 3 nights over £500 but we had twin beds which the mattress had no mattress protection on. I found myself having to lay on the quilt covers so not to be bitten having very sensitive skin. Was offered an upgrade of 35 euro each night for an upgrade but didn’t think I need it after we arrived late 9.30pm. "

"Great quiet, convenient location. Bus stop outside or a 20 minute walk to central station. Modern, spacious room. Ample breakfast with lots of choice. We were on a river cruise and stayed at the Jakarta after. A 5 minute taxi ride from the port. We would stay there again! "

The location is also really convenient, as the city center was only 3-5 stops away, yet you’re able to breathe a little without being a super crowded space. I’d definitely stay here again."

"We stayed two nights after finding this ourselves instead of relying on a travel agent. It gives a real Netherlands experience instead of the more common international hotel chains. It is a quirky place in a fabulous location and we enjoyed watching the activity on the water while sitting in sunshine drinking beers from the onsite brewery. The food in the restaurant was good too and service time reasonable considering it was full."

"This hotel is in a lovely location, overlooking a beautiful park. We liked it as it wasn’t in central Amsterdam so felt a bit quieter. We had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent. The staff were very helpful. There was a large wedding on the Saturday, but you could not hear it from the room which was great! The room was lovely, clean and modern. The lounge area mezzanine was a particularly highlight."
