North Lakes Hotel And Spa

4.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (912)
"We recently stayed at the North Lakes Hotel & Spa as a stopover on our journey from Scotland to England, and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the
family
room was perfect for us. The children were thrilled to find named biscuits and their own welcome packs waiting on arrival – such a thoughtful touch! One of my personal highlights was the fresh milk machine just outside our room, which made bedtime bottles for the
kids

Crown Inn at Pooley Bridge

3.5 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (483)
"We loved the hotel and the room we had was in the stable. We had 2 dogs so it was perfect for us. Very dog friendly. A couple of things would make it even better. A door mat and a broom would help keep the floor cleaner and a small fridge for milk as we kept forgetting to get the small flask from the bar."

The Royal at Dockray

3.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (88)
"Unfortunately this hotel has gone downhill. We’ve been returning to this hotel for years and up until this year we have been massively let down. Whilst this hotel is within one of the best locations within the Lake District, the hotel itself has a lot to improve on. As far as cleanliness goes I would struggle to find a clean piece of cutlery no matter how much I swapped my filthy ones. When we arrived there was stains on the sheets that they appeared to try and hide away, and when asked for it...

The Inn On The Lake

4.0 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (72)
"Got the wrong food order brought to us on a couple of occasions, seems a break down in communication. Also had items missing from my breakfast despite it being on the menu and before we arrived I called the hotel to make restaurant reservations but was told that the hotel always accommodates hotel guests. This wasn’t the case as when we did arrive and tried to make reservations we were told the Orangery was fully booked and they couldn’t accommodate us, much to our annoyance. Lovely stay overall...
