It was meh.

The staff was friendly, but the AC in our room was terrible. I understand the weather is hot but during the day the AC won’t cool off the room at all. There is a fair amount of flies around the dining area too. But if you’re just trying to do your touristy stuff and stay at the room for sleep it’s not a bad place.

Hillside retreat

Gentle, friendly staff keep the buildings & garden clean & tidy. I was glad to hire a scooter as Bataran Garden Cottage is not accessible on foot from the coastal road. The seclusion & view over the ocean & Mt Agung make it a serene retreat.

The staff was super helpfull here and the place itself is so relaxing with the views and everything. We were there during the day of silence, when there's no electricity in Nusa Penida and you can't go outside the hotel, and because of that they surprised all of us with a free of charge buffet lunch with local dishes.

Beautiful place

This was a beautiful place to stay. Staff were friendly and helpful, food was good but as the menu is quite small, when they had no fish left there wasnt too many choices. Location is ok, you do need transport or the hotel can help arrange. Overall we were very happy with our stay

Ganz nett anzuschauen, aber die Zimmer waren wirklich nicht gut. Es könnte alles an Kleinvieh reinkommen. Das Bad war offen und roch sehr streng, sodass wir uns nicht getraut haben, dort zu duschen. Nachts wurde unser Buch von einem Tier im Zimmer angeknabbert, sodass man die Koffer nicht unbeaufsichtigt offen stehen lasssn könnte.

Quiet and clean

Beautiful view from the infinity pool. Quiet and relaxed atmosphere. 15 minute scooter ride from the harbour. 50 minute ride to Kelingking beach.
