"We absolutely loved this place! The sunset on one side and the beach on the other was great. Watching the tide rise and fall on the Cape Fear reserves was a nice surprise. We hadn't been to this area since the early 90's so it was good to be back. Parking at the restaurants was a little tricky, but the Wrightsville area is definitely worth a visit. Our room was a privately owned condo and was nicely decorated, with a small library and games. There wasn't a lot of storage or closet space, but I'm sure every room is different."

"Very dog friendly hotel. The staff were so great during check-in and were super welcoming towards both me and my dog. I also had a drink at the bar and the bartenders were all great and very friendly and made conversation. Great experience!"

"Staff was very friendly, breakfast was yummy especially the cinnamon waffles. We had a king size room, and there was a lot of room, wished there was a couch but otherwise the room was comfortable."

"This place is rather dated and needs several upgrades in the rooms. The sinks are very shallow, no vanity space at. Needs new paint. Staff is friendly and very welcoming. Overall good location close to River walk, battle ship, downtown shops, and the convention center."

"It was so much better than I had expected,it was clean and very comfortable. I made a mistake when I originally booked my room and the staff was understanding and helped correct the problem for me immediately. The day that I was supposed to leave, my vehicle wouldn't start and since it was a holiday weekend, I had difficulty getting it towed to a localbody shop to get it fixed. The manager was more than accommodating and thankfully gave me more than enough time to get my vehicle towed to the repair shop without having to worry about him having it towed or getting a ticket. I enjoyed my time at the country inn and suites and i would recommend it to anyone who wanted to enjoy great accommodations, a great atmosphere and a very kind and understanding hotel staff."
