"The lady that checked us in was absolutely precious. The rooms were quite nice, the bed very comfortable. I did not eat breakfast that morning and didn’t even look in there so I don’t know what it was like, but it was probably great too like everything else was."

"Great hotel in a busy location. It can be hard to get in and out of the parking lot due to being right next to a Costco. Otherwise, the stay itself was great! We only stayed one night, but our room was clean and bed was comfortable. Shower was hot and had plenty of toiletries. Breakfast was also nice, with the omelettes coming in to surprise as a favorite. Overall, if we're staying in Wilmington again, we'll definitely consider here."

"I absolutely LOVE the staff here! They were ALWAYS very polite, friendly, and helpful. They even helped me look for the phone and prescription sunglasses I lost. The excellent, down to earth staff was my favorite part. The room was fantastic, so clean, with a full-size fridge and 2 stove top burners, full silverware/coffee mugs/wine glasses. Although this is an older motel, the rooms have been upgraded very nicely. Note that this is a 3 story building and I never located an elevator, so if you cannot take the stairs a first level room may be necessary. The ONLY complaint I had is that part of the hotel has no “beach” on one side. I went down the access ramp closest to my room and realized the ocean comes all the way up to the dunes, so there is a small stretch that you cannot even walk on because there is a $500 fine for being on the protected dunes. I’m sure a few years ago this was not the case as rising waters have obviously eroded the beach; this is not the motel’s fault. Other than that, my stay was absolutely perfect!"

"Had a wonderful experience at the hotel. Jona at the front desk was very helpful. Remote did not work upon arrival so we went done and he gave us new batteries. And it still didn’t work so be gave us another one right away. Extremely clean and well maintained property. Great location In Wilmington."
