Room was clean, although the bathroom vent fan in room 215 would stall occasionally, should be changed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would like to see some enhancements to the continental breakfast. More variety and better ingredients. Overall happy with the quality of the room and the price.

The staff was extremely inviting. Perfect location for passing through. Great Wifi, quick breakfast (continental) and very close to a HyVee and Gas Station.

Friendly staff who worked hard to ensure our stay was pleasant and it was. Rooms had some updating and were a good value. We really just slept there because there was so many fun things to do in Pella. Would stay again.

Essentials

It has a bed and a shower, and all of it was sanitized and clean. They had a scheduled power outage for some reason the morning of our checkout, which was unpleasant as we couldnt eat breakfast and it turned off the AC. Not notified prior to checking in either. Other than that it is about as advertised.

The property was old and not terribly well maintained. The room itself was o.k., but the bathtub was discolored and stained. Front desk on Saturday and Sunday was not interested in dealing with customers at all - basically ignoring me until I requested a receipt. The advertised breakfast was sad - the food was out in the evening - and the same food was out in the morning. No amenities except for a dishwasher and dryer in the lobby area. Not at all what I had expected in a property endorsed by AAA.

I’m getting the run around! I canceled my reservation the day before and was still charged!!!😡I made my reservation through Expedia and they told me to contact Super 8 and so I spoke with them and they said they couldn’t cancel or refund an Expedia reservation 😡😡😡
