"Overall, this is an extremely aesthetically pleasing property. On the newer side, so everything is well maintained and the rooms are immaculate. The only downside for me personally- as a solo female traveler- is this is also a very kid-friendly property. Meaning there will be kids running around, kids in the pool, kids also running around the gym while you’re trying to work out. The gym also has one treadmill - and limited equipment so often times I had to wait or come back at a later time. I also found a couple roaches in my room - this doesn’t bother me too much being the humid climate and being on the ground floor next to the pool. Just for others to keep in mind when booking. Otherwise, it’s a great property and walking distance to evening you need for a nice stay."

"Our stay at Nirjhara was amazing! We booked the jungle pool pavilion room and it was quite literally perfection. From the time we checked in until the day we left, we were greeted by name, with professionalism, kindness and with genuine warm smiles. The staff really raised the bar at this hotel. Peaceful, beautiful and quiet - perfect for a 3 night stay and a great location to explore the stunning Tabanan region - esp. villages, magnificent rice fields Bali is famous for, temples, night markets and cosy hill side cafes. Still undiscovered by mass tourism, Tabanan is a precious jewel in Bali’s paradise and exotic crown. "

"Look, we loved our stay here. We wanted an authentic experience surrounded by real Bali. Real locals, not overrun with tourists, good food and away from the traffic and bustle. It was perfect. We met with our local Balinese friends here that were made to feel very welcome. The staff were authentically friendly, no touristy pretense. Indomarat across the the road and the restaurant on site is simple but great, so all you need. Local ceremony nearby which was a great experience. We loved it. Don’t stay here if you want to have 5 star luxury, walk and find shops and restaurants and spas. Do stay here if you want to be surrounded by the real simple bali. Our ‘wooden’ villa had its own pool and kitchen. It was clean, spacious and beautiful. It had great air conditioning and gallon water available. We did an amazing day trip with our recommended driver by the hotel, Nicky. We are already planning next year. 11 out of 10. "
