"This is a beautiful B&B just minutes from town. Fantastic shopping, restaurants and if you just want to get lost walking through the maze of streets it transport you back in time. Narrow streets, flowers and balconies. And the room was wonderful , clean , quiet and the breakfast was amazing each day. We loved it so much we extended our stay by one day. The hosts are two lovely young women who make sure your stay is memorable and did I say the breakfast was amazing? I already miss my cafe latte...

"This was one of our best stays during our trip to Italy. It is a B and B in an old convent. We had two rooms. The beds were very comfortable. The facility was very clean. It was quiet. The breakfast was good. Beatrice, the host, was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make us at home. Would happily stay there again."

Clean rooms, comfortable bed and washrooms, the best food we have had so far in Italy (which surprised us because let’s be honest, it’s Italy), best friendliest staff, serene and cozy atmosphere, distance to towns is convenient. "Three couples, cousins, stayed two nights at the Castello to explore Assisi and Gubbio. My wife and I and our young children stayed at the castle in 1998. We all thought it was special. Since then we have now been again twice and the experience has only gotten better and better! Highly recommend for an extremely unique experience in Umbria with much to see a in the area."

"The room fantastic, the surroundings lovely and there is potential to be 5/5. However we had two problems body there made worse by temperatures close to 40C. When we arrived here was nobody there to receive us so we were stuck at the gate for 1/2 an hour until I got the attention of a guest by sounding the car horn. Guests finding a number and ringing on cell phones IS NOT an alternative to reception and for us from overseas not an option. Secondly the air conditioning only worked in fan mode...

"We arrived early and could check in. Used pool and jacuzzi overlooking Perugia. Lovely and relaxing at the end of the trip. First impressions of this ancient castle did not disappoint.
