"Wonderful and helpful front desk staff went above and beyond to be helpful:) The lady with the long dark hair was particularly kind and welcoming. Beautiful courtyard. Modern rooms. Comfortable beds and Ac. Our room ac unit seemed moldy or dusty and seemed to maybe need routine cleaning. There was mold behind toilet in bathroom and peeling paint. The room smelled strongly of air freshener coverup. The location is great. 15 mins drive from airport. €11 Uber. Easy walk to loads of restaurants. There’s a convenience store under a minutes walk from the hotel with a good selection of food and drinks."

"This property is in a quiet street off the main old part of faro. We used it for just sleeping and swimming as there are many cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance, but I think you order the night before if you want breakfast. Very attentive but discreet staff who cleaned our room and gave us fresh towels daily. We were there in 30 degree heat, so the air conditioning was a must. Faro is a lovely city to stay in if you want a low key stay and an inexpensive boat ferry can take you across the lagoon to faro beach. When there head left for tranquility. Many people go to the Algarve for the larger beach resorts but we don’t. We came across the city’s food festival one evening, on the far side of the old city, and seemed to be the only brits there. Opus One has huge rooms with enormous cupboard space and luxury bathrooms. Will definitely go again. Easy journey from airport and a local bus no 16 that takes you to the airport or beach, if you don’t take the ferry."

"It’s close to the airport and you can easily walk there for an early morning flight. We stayed there two nights, room had air conditioning and had all the basic needs. It’s not a luxury building but it’s clean and has the basic amenities which is good enough for 1-2 nights"

"This hotel is more like a guesthouse, but it's fantastically located, really close to lots of restaurants, bars, and shops right in the centre of town. It's an easy walking distance to anything you'd like to see in Faro. We stayed in a very large family room, which was somewhat recently renovated, sparsely furnished but totally adequate for our needs. It had two air conditioning units and a kitchenette."
