This cherrywood bar was given as a gift to the Hotel Irma from Queen Victoria because of the impression Buffalo Bill Cody left when entertaining in Great Britain.

Worth the trip indeed

I had to stitch some photos together to get this panorama shot of the Lower Yellowstone Falls flowing into the Yellowstone Grand Canyon.
I didn't know what to expect and therefore I didn't bring a tripod or a ND filter. Otherwise I would probably have done a longer exposure.
But I am still happy with the result.

Buffalo Bill Cody called this hotel "a gem" just outside of Yellowstone National Park. He built the hotel in 1902 and named it for his daughter, Irma.
Gardiner Montana sits on the other end of this entrance.
Charming town, great old west feel still.
If you follow the Snake River about a mile down there's a small area with a hot spring that's great for swimming. There's a parking area and then you need to do the mile hike down
